Victorian Santa Christmas Stocking

This design is intended to be made up as a Christmas stocking. The design is worked on 14ct aida and the kit includes two pieces of red felt to make the stocking. The design includes beads and metallic thread and is 16.5cms by 29cms (6½" by 11½").Available as a full kit only. Being a pushover when it comes to anything nostalgic, particularly when connected with Christmas ...... I couldn’t resist creating this traditional Santa Claus stocking design. It was all the more fun because it gave me the opportunity to add glittering embellishments with silvery thread and twinkly red, blue and green glass beads. The design is stitched all over using 2 strands of DMC thread (floss) on 14ct Aida.

Elephant Cake Walk

The design is worked on 28ct Jobelan evenweave and includes some gold metallic thread, beadsand jingley bells! It is 22cms by 15.5cms (8½" by 6").Available as a full kit or as a chart pack. The zingy colour of the background to my friendly ambling elephants is difficult to reproduce here. In reality it gives a hot ethnic look to the design, together with the glittering metallic thread and golden bells.
