Wedding Quilt Sampler

The design is 41cms by 41cms (16¼" by 16¼") and is worked on 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave. The design can be personalised using the supplied alphabet and numeral charts.Available as a full kit or as a chart pack. The general look of this design was inspired by a beautiful quilt displayed at the American Museum in Bath, England. The floral border is based on rose motifs in a style popularised by the Glasgow School of Art during the Art Nouveau period late 19th and early 20th century. The design uses whole cross stitches, a couple of french knots, a few long stitches & back stitch.

Two Human Loves Sampler

The design is 26cms by 35cms (10" by 14") and is worked on 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave. The design includes some silver beads and a turquoise heart-shaped jewel.Available as a full kit or as a chart pack. The quotation on this romantic sampler, "Two human loves make one divine", is by English poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The design could be used to celebrate a wedding or any other romantic occasion or anniversary. Charts for whole alphabets in two styles are included, so that personalised text can be planned. If you choose to use the small backstitched alphabet you will be able to include additional text, the name and location of the church, for example. The design uses whole cross stitch with a few fractional stitches, algerian eyes & back stitch.
