We have a range of cross
stitch needlework designs by Barbara Skelton available as kits and chart
packs. Sources of design inspiration
include the Art Nouveau style from the late 1800’s; 1930-1950 nostalgia and
historical decorative art from around the world. There are classic and fun
samplers; florals; designs with an ethnic theme and more! Some designs include
genuine natural semi-precious gemstones, beads, charms and other
embellishments.
Cross
stitch designs in the Amathusia range are available as either charts or full
kits. Many designs are offered in both forms. KITS have a colour picture showing the completed
design and have clear colour symbol charts together with detailed stitching
instructions/ diagrams and tapestry/beading
needles. They contain top
quality materials such as Zweigart
Aida or Jobelan evenweave fabric. The
DMC stranded cotton threads/floss are pre-sorted onto an organiser. Some kits contain genuine natural
semi-precious gemstones, beads, jewels, hand-painted roundels, charms and
Caron Waterlilies pure silk space-dyed thread or metallic thread. CHART PACKS have a colour picture
of the completed design, keys for DMC threads, with clear colour symbol
charts, thread/fabric guides, detailed stitching instructions and
diagrams. The chart packs will
include genuine natural semi-precious gemstones, beads, jewels, hand-painted
roundels, charms and Caron Waterlilies pure silk space-dyed thread or
metallic thread, as the design requires.
Chart packs are ideal for stitchers who like to be free to make their
own fabric and thread/floss choices.
